NEW MEMBER NOTICE DISCLOSURE
PROCEDURES FOR OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT
In accordance with Section 326 of the USA Patriot Act of
2001, which requires the GNC FCU to help the government fight
the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities,
Federal law requires all financial institutions
to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each
person who opens an account.
What this means for you: When you open an
account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth
and other information that will allow us to identify you.
We will need a VALID ID and your SOCIAL
SECURITY CARD or something that has your social security #
on it. If your address is different than your ID we will need
a utility bill with your correct address.

In all cases, protection of our member’s identity and
confidentiality is the Credit Union’s pledge to you.
GNC FCU appreciates your patience and understanding as we
all do our part in complying with the new account identification
procedures required by the federal USA Patriot Act of 2001.
